To kick off our afterschool meltdown prevention activities (I’m sure there’s a catchier name that I can come up with at some point), we’ve gone with a firm favourite tonight – Home Made Playdoh! We’re HUGE fans of playdoh in our house, but our current batch of little pots of imagination have all been mixed…
Howdo…. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
….. And a massive mess 😂 Since Nanny has been here, Boe has been itching to show her our newest and most favourite activity – making a volcano!
For this year’s Halloween activities, we’re keeping it really simple and focusing more on the pumpkin side of things… Due to Boe’s sensitivity we have to keep things quite peaceful for Halloween, with no loud, spooky noises or anything really scary….
Boe’s got really into his Lego bricks over the last few months, which has been amazing to watch.
I haven’t really shared any of my tough days for a very long time… Truth be told, it’s actually been a while since I had any tough days, but during my 4 weeks off therapy, I’ve slowly felt the emotions building back up.
It’s Autumn… The weather is shocking, and Boe needs entertaining…. So today we decided to try a new activity – painting with cotton balls ❤️
I can’t tell you when it started, this insane level of anxiety over our kitchen. I know it wasn’t there pre-Boe, and I know it wasn’t as bad as it has been this year, but I wouldn’t be able to pin point at what stage of my mental health crisis that it all went from…
You ever have one of those days where you just nail everything? Due to all my mental health issues, one of those days hadn’t happened in a very long time – I often lose my shit over something, but 5 major things happened yesterday that old me would have had major meltdowns over.
