Ahhh I’m so thrilled – this week I’ve managed to lose just over 1lb 😍 I’ve been stuck between 79 / 78kg for what seems like an eternity, so to have reached 77kg is currently a personal best!
It’s not been easy since my diagnosis last year. I’m a snack addict. I always have been, but since my medication was switched, the snacking has become more of a need than an occasional “in between meals” go-to.
So back in early December I was told I was borderline diabetic.
Since getting our new kitchen, I’ve suddenly become possessed by some kind of chef / baker spirit and I’m trying out loads of new recipes as well as some old favourites ? Today was an attempt at a new recipe – Breakfast Oat Bars.
I’m on the last day of my detox, and I’m incredibly starving, so the last thing I want to be doing is spending hours at the oven where there’s a whole world of temptation…. But the boys have to eat. So it’s time to pull out a Super-quick snacky lunch….
